Emerging facts indicates that the Supreme Court has made substantive and direct pronouncement on the issue of Shettima’s “double nomination” by the APC. Effectively, this issue is now settled.

From the summary that I have sighted, their Lordships went beyond dispute over dates. They held that there’s no nomination for VP position because it doesn’t involve primaries. They also took dates into consideration and held that APC withdrew Shettima’s nomination for Senate.
