The Kano State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a popular Kano TikTok skit maker, Murja Ibrahim Kunya. Murja was arrested at the Tahir Hotel in Kano while trying to book rooms for her guests who came from different places to attend her much-publicised birthday party. The spokesperson of the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, in a statement on Sunday night, January 29, 2023, Murja was arrested following complaints from clerics that she uses vulgar language and corrupts the morals of the society in her videos
